Accommodation at special conference rates (rates include 10% GST) has been reserved as follows:
Sofitel Brisbane Hotel (249 Turbot St; Brisbane; this 5-star hotel is where the conference will be held.

Novotel Brisbane Hotel ( 200 Creek St, Brisbane; this 4.5-star hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the conference hotel. Please note that this is a non-smoking hotel.)

To obtain these rates, ALL accommodation must be booked through the Conference Organiser and will be allocated on a strict priority of receipt basis.
Please book early as we have blocked a limited number of rooms and competing events in Brisbane at the time
of the conference may restrict accommodation options. We will release out accommodation blocks 30 days
before the conference; after this time we will attempt to secure accommodation on an individual basis.
It is necessary to pay for all accommodation charges to obtain these rates.
Please Note: Special conference accommodation rates have been negotiated for the conference prior to the printing of the Registration Brochure. The conference organisers accept no responsibility if the hotels offer
“special rates” or “standby rates” at their discretion.
Getting to Brisbane from the airport.
The airport is a 20-minute drive from the city. A taxi will cost about $35-$40. The train will cost $13; you can get
off at Central Station, which is next door to the Sofitel Hotel.
Parking
Limited parking is available at the Sofitel at the following rates:
Self-parking maximum per day - $38
Valet Parking - $45.00 per vehicle per day (in house guests)
Valet Parking - $50.00 per vehicle per day (external guests)
Less expensive parking (maximum daily rate is $23) is available at the Wickham Terrace Car Park (opposite the Sofitel; enter via Creek or Turbot Streets).
